Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, today (Sunday, 14 July 2024):
“Like all Israelis, my wife Sara and I were shocked by the horrific assassination attempt on the life of President Donald Trump.
This wasn’t just an attack on Donald Trump. This was an attack on a candidate for the presidency of the United States. This was an attack on America. It was an attack on democracy, it was an attack on all the democracies.
On behalf of myself, my family, the Government and people of Israel, we wish President Trump a speedy recovery, continued good health and continued strength.”

Many people seem shocked by this attempt on Trump’s life. I KNEW it would happen sometime before the election because it’s literally the ONLY play the DNC had left. Well, that or cancelling (or “suspending”) the election due to some OTHER manufactured crisis–but that would cost a LOT more to coordinate and pull off. Not that they might not still try that, too.
