Tonight’s cabinet meeting: It appears that the Israeli response in Iran will be powerful, but below the highest level. The response will cause significant economic damage to Iran, reported Israeli journalist Tamir Morag.
Israeli officials are preparing a “significant retaliation” against Iran following Tuesday’s ballistic missile attack. Targets are expected to include Iran’s oil industry, air defense systems, and other strategic sites, with possible assassination strikes on key figures. If Iran responds, Israel is considering all options, including targeting Iranian nuclear sites, reported Axios.
I estimate that within the next 72 hours Israel will attack Iran’s oil and gas infrastructure and a few IRGC bases. What about Iran’s nuclear sites? That would have to wait (for reasons I can’t detail here) until after the U.S. elections, reported Israeli journalist Amir Tsarfati.
