In response to the violence an IDF aircraft attacked two Hamas outposts. At three seprate points along the border fence there were brief incursions by Gazan residents into Israeli territory. According to the Hamas ministry of health, one woman, 43 year old Amal Mustafa Ahmad A-Thrasi was killed and 25 others were wounded. An IDF soldier was lightly injured by rocks thrown at him by Arab rioters and was evacuated for treatment.
