Earlier today IDF forces identified what appeared to be a breach in the Kisufim area of the Israel – Gaza border. The terrorists were seen entering an area of dense brush, where they were surrounded by IDF infantry from the Kfir brigade assisted by a Merkavah tank. When the Arabs threw a hand grenade and what appeared to be an IED at the Israeli forces, IDF troops returned fire, likely killing all three.
IDF spokesperson released a video showing the terrorists throwing explosives at the IDF troops.
The area is now undergoing intensive ground and aerial searches to recover the remains of the terrorists and eliminate the possibility that any threat remains to the nearby Israeli villages.
