An American female member of the Israeli police was buried in Israel. She had no family in her new nation and was buried with honors, with many members of Israeli society in attendance.

The police announced today (Monday) that MGB fighter Second Sergeant Rose Lubin, who was injured this morning in an attack at the Shalem station in Jerusalem , died of her wounds in the hospital and is 20 years old. Lubin was a lone fighter who immigrated to Israel alone from the United States in order to enlist and she lived in Kibbutz Saad in Otaf Gaza, reported Mako.co.il.

The investigation of the incident reveals that Sgt. Lubin and two other fighters were on an operational activity to secure the police station in the Old City of Jerusalem, when a 16-year-old terrorist from Issawiya stabbed the female fighter about 15 times and fatally wounded her, as well as another fighter who was slightly wounded. A third fighter who was with them shot at the terrorist with a target neutralize it.

Lubin immigrated to Israel in August 2021 in order to enlist in combat service, and in March 2022 she was recruited into the Border Guard. Upon completion of her training, she was assigned to the Old Battalion of the Jerusalem Police. Her company members spoke of a brave, professional, ethical, sociable, smiling and kind-hearted warrior who wanted to help everyone, who was the first to volunteer for any mission for the defense of the country.
