Today, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave his response to recent developments in the Persian Gulf after speaking with the Trump administration.

“Yesterday, I spoke with Vice President JD Vance, who called me from his plane while returning from a trip.

“He briefed me in detail, as this administration does daily, on the developments in the negotiations.

“He conveyed to me that the central issue for President Trump and the United States is the removal of all enriched material and ensuring that there will be no enrichment in Iran for years to come, possibly decades.

“The ceasefire with Iran could end quickly.

“Since Iran violated the rules, Trump decided to impose a blockade, a naval siege, and we of course support this firm position.

“Israel is at the height of its power.

“We have alignment with the most powerful nation in the world, and together we have the capability to confront the gravest threats.

If we had not acted, then places like Natanz, Fordow, and Bushehr would be remembered like Auschwitz, Majdanek, and Sobibor.”

I’m in support of Israel and it’s sovereignty. But Bibi should be more circumspect. Hashem has Israel in His palm, but history is rife with rulers and leaders, that doomed Israel because their pride overshadowed their thinking. These kinds of pronouncements come off as prideful gloating. At least I see it as such.
