Twenty American Globemaster C17s have landed in Israel in the past week alone, indicating that the newly donated THAAD systems have been delivered and are on their way to being deployed and operational in Israel.

Hundreds of U.S. personnel are in country to operate the system, which protects against ballistic missile attack.

It is unclear how many systems remain in the North America to protect the homeland.

The Israeli government has confirmed it will strike Iran, just not nuclear or oil production facilities before the U.S. election. American forces will likely participate in the offensive against the Shia religious state.
