Recently, the U.S. Air Force parachuted relief supplies, mainly food, into the Gaza Strip as a humanitarian gesture. Much of the food packages landed in the ocean when dropped in the north.
The gesture was political, as the Biden administration faces backlash from the American Muslim population in Michigan and elsewhere as the 2024 presidential election approaches, for Biden’s support for Israel as the Gaza war rages.
The development seems to be more of a photo op than a serious effort to deliver nutrition. Below a Gaza man throws the food into the garbage, since it came from the Americans.

He has a point….his people are being slaughter with US weapons and ammunition used by the IDF which is funded and supported by the US government.
