Reports from the Middle East region describe Trump’s Middle East tour as leaving Israel isolated.
Trump has made it clear he is distancing himself from the Netanyahu government. The reasons for this appear to be Jerusalem’s push for war with Iran, and the reported espionage affair for Israel with former National Security Advisor Mike Waltz.
After Trump’s tour of Arab capitals and wealth, it is now very clear to the world President Trump is serious about peace. This applies to Ukraine, Gaza, Iran…Syria…everywhere.
These moves have unsettled Israel, where Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, closely aligned with Trump during his first term, found himself sidelined. Trump’s opening to Iran, truce with the Houthis, and outreach to Syria directly contradict Israeli security priorities, reported Central Asian media entities.
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority, citing former Mossad chief Ephraim Halevy reported Israel’s strategic situation has suffered a severe blow.
Trump may now turn his focus back to the Gaza conflict.
“We’re looking at Gaza, and we want to take care of those who are starving there. We have to help the Palestinians, a lot of people are starving in Gaza. Many good things will happen regarding Gaza in the next month.
“I didn’t ask Israel about recognizing the new Syrian government, I thought it was the right thing to do.”
Trump is a deal maker, and it is highly likely that in exchange for the focus and deference to Arab priorities, he will extract help on the Gaza problem from Arab leadership.
UAE is already making statements that Gaza needs new leadership, removing Hamas.
Turkey is working to facilitate peace in Ukraine, after receving a gift from POTUS in his recognition of the new Syrian government.
Trump is threading the needle for peace in a way no one expected.
We hope Trump will demand publicly the end of Christian persecution in the region with the chips he has garnered during his world tour.
