Anti-Semitism Is A Way Of Life For Many Muslims As Representatives Omar And Tlaib So Aptly Demonstrate

Congresswomen Omar, Tlaib, and Ocasio-Cortez are rabidly anti-Semitic and it is high time to call them out by name

Over this last weekend, the newly elected anti-Semitic congresswoman Ilhan Omar has ignited a Twitter storm by yet another anti-Semitic comment, this time implying that the GOP was controlled by “Jewish money”. The Twitter exchanges between her and various Jewish and non-Jewish Twitterati are summarized here by Seth Frantzman.

The American Jewish reactions to the blatant anti-Semitism of newly elected third world and Muslim representatives such as Omar, Tlaib, and Ocasio-Cortez, are both willfully naive and ill-informed. What these diaspora Jews fail to realize simply because it does not comport with their wishful thinking and misguided sense of political correctness is that the Muslim world has always been rabidly anti-Semitic. It was anti-Semitic in the same sense that Christian Europe was anti-Semitic before the Holocaust, openly, and still is behind closed doors. Muslims have always considered the Jews residing alongside them as second-class humans and second-class citizens. Multiple restrictions were placed on them, from the size of synagogues to the prohibition on service in the civil service and in the military. And, when you think about it, what can be more anti-Semitic than that?

With the creation of the State of Israel in 1948 and the subsequent still very much ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict, the ancient, somewhat less than homicidal Muslim anti-Semitism underwent an “upgrade” to a weaponized version that wished to commit genocide against Jews and that would have undoubtedly succeeded had Israel not been able to remove the Jews residing in Muslim countries to Israel before these countries gained full independence from their colonial masters, England and France. All across North Africa, In Iraq, and in Yemen, Jews who could afford it fled unassisted to countries like France and England, or where smuggled out of there en mass to the newly founded and struggling Israel. None had time to liquidate their possessions and real estate, which became forfeit.

The Islamic radicalization of the last quarter century took Muslim anti-Semitism to as yet unknown heights of hate. This new Muslim anti-Semitism has now become a wholly irrational emotion that has at its base not only centuries-old animosity, not only envy of Jewish achievements in Israel and in the diaspora, achievements that showcase the stone-age backwardness of Muslims both in their own countries and in their communities in places like Minnesota and Michigan, but now also a blind rage. Muslims are enraged because no matter how much more radically observant they become, no matter how much they oppress their women, regardless of their revival of pagan customs like female genital mutilation, their fortunes only sink further just as the secularized Jews are scaling new heights of achievement.

American Jews fail to appreciate the depths of anti-Semitic hatred on which the likes of Omar and Tlaib are raised. This hatred can easily match the best the Nazis could master in their heyday, if not exceed it. They also fail to acknowledge the rank anti-Semitism of the “indigenous rights” crowd of which Ocasio-Cortez has now become the spokesperson. There is no anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli trope, old or new, that these types of people have not bought into. Had the American Jewry become exposed to the language used behind closed doors by American Muslims and their Latino sympathizers, they wold be appalled. They shouldn’t be.

It is dangerous to underestimate the true feelings and intentions of this new batch of Democratic congresswomen when it comes to Jews or to Israel. It is equally dangerous and incredibly pathetic for the radical leftist wing of American Jewry to pretend that their rejection of their own homeland, Israel, and embrace of the “downtrodden” Muslims gets them a get of of jail card as far as these Muslims are concerned. Perhaps they should review what happened to the assimilated German Jewry in the 1930’s.

It is time to speak the truth with clarity: Omar, Tlaib, Ocasio-Cortez, and all their sympathizers and enablers are rabidly anti-Semitic and anti-American. They were installed in congress by the Democratic National Committee using the votes of equally anti-Semitic and anti-American Muslim and Latino Muslim sympathizer voters with the sole purpose of defeating the policies promulgated by President Trump and the GOP, consequences be damned. Only speaking the truth loudly and openly, without fear and without regard for fake political correctness will ensure that the American body politic and the American republic will not be taken over from within by the forces of hate as it happened in Germany 80 years ago.
