The US Army has informed that this morning the procedure of connecting the humanitarian dock to the shores of Gaza was completed and its activity will begin in the coming days, writes independent journalist Amir Tsarfati.
The structure is connected to the Gaza mainland via a causeway and will allow for humanitarian aid delivery says The White House.
The equipment is allegedly the only one of its kind in the US inventory and this actions exposes a vital piece of equipment to damage from attack.
Indeed the facility has already been damaged by militant forces in Gaza.
