The Hezbollah terror group allegedly asked residents of southern Lebanon to evacuate their homes on Friday morning, according to a KAN report, wrote The Jerusalem Post.
Hezbollah denied a report published by An-Nahar on Friday that claimed, without citing any source, the party “asked residents of southern Lebanese village to evacuate as of Thursday in anticipation of expected large-scale Israeli operations expected as preparations for a war on Lebanon increase.”
Before Hezbollah’s statement, sources close to Hezbollah told L’Orient Today’s correspondent in the South that An-Nahar’s claim is not true.
Around two hours later, Hezbollah’s media relations released a statement, saying that An-Nahar’s report is “completely false and unfounded.”
